Assignments of short term scientific exchange to the associated field stations and laboratories of each member institute;

Cooperative research projects carried out wholly or partially within each institution;

Joint participation in seminars, workshops and training courses across each institute;

Joint publications;

Other activities as may be agreed, such as those relating to environmental, economic, social and health impacts of mining and land degradation.
